Michael I. Sherman

Mr. Sherman has been an immigration lawyer since 1994. His practice focuses on providing prompt, personalized immigration legal services to clients in the healthcare and business sectors. He also provides legal services to people interested in obtaining family-based visas. Mr. Sherman holds an A.B. with High Distinction in Near Eastern Studies from the University of Michigan, and a J.D. from Wayne State University School of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the District of Columbia Bar, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the Oakland County Bar Association. Mr. Sherman is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the international lawyer rating service. This is their highest rating. As a law student, Mr. Sherman served as the Chief Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Steven N. Andrews of the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court in Michigan, and as a Law Clerk for the Office of Legal Affairs at William Beaumont Hospital. In addition, he was a Flotilla Staff Officer in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary from 2005-2007.
