Shandon Cuong Phan

Shandon Phan is Founder and Managing Attorney of the Shandon Phan Law Firm, which represents and counsels individuals, families, and small businesses in the areas of business law, family law, criminal defense, and immigration. Attorney Phan is one of the few Vietnamese attorneys working on the BP Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico, representing a large group of individuals and businesses affected. During law school, he was twice selected for Moot Court and served on the Moot Court Executive Board, as Litigation Fellow, International Law Student Fellow, President of Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, and Vice-President of International Law Society. He also held various public service internships and legal clerkships, including at the U.S. Immigration Court, U.S. Coast Guard's Office of the Judge Advocate General, and U.S. Attorney's Office (District of Columbia), Appellate Division. He is an active member of various bar associations, including the American Bar Association, the Texas Bar Association, the Houston Bar Association, and the Vietnamese American Bar Association, and currently serves as President of the Vietnamese Community of Houston and the Vicinity.
