Anthony Carr

A partner in Shaheen & Gordon, P.A.'s personal injury practice group, Anthony Carr concentrates his practice on representing individuals who have been seriously injured or killed due to the neglect of others. He brings his trauma-informed, victim-centered approach to complex personal injury litigation in a broad array of case types, including nursing home neglect, sexual assault, municipal liability, Section 1983 litigation, product liability, crashworthiness liability, and toxic torts such as asbestos. He also led S&G's YDC Victim Compensation Group and helped obtain the first YDC settlement for one of our clients. Growing up in New England, Anthony knew he wanted to help people. In the law, Anthony discovered a passion for leveling the playing field in court and giving wronged people a chance at putting things right. In a world that is often unfair, he’s determined to help his clients find justice and show big corporations that treating people poorly will cost more than treating them well. Anthony’s empathetic and open approach uniquely positions him for navigating situations involving nursing home abuse and negligence. He takes the time to hear victims out, then draws on his knowledge of the systemic failures of for-profit long term care programs to expose negligence and cruelty. His goal is ultimately to hold care facilities accountable and increase the standard of care for elders everywhere. Having begun his legal career in Hawaii, Anthony’s practice was an integral part of Shaheen & Gordon establishing an office in Honolulu. He now regularly travels between New England and Hawaii and offers the same tenacious and dedicated advocacy to clients in both regions. The Honolulu community is incredibly important to Anthony, and he actively engages nonprofits on Oahu to give back to the community that’s offered him so much.
