Lawrence Boesch

Born and raised in South Dakota (Sioux Falls was then sub-100k residents), he traveled to Washington, DC for college, and visited New York, Philadelphia and Miami while there. He experienced the West Coast when he began graduate work in San Francisco and never returned (except for visits) to the Midwest. An avid baseball fan, his allegiance has shifted from the Giants to the A's, and more recently to the Dodgers. He worked in Southern California for about 7 years, and returned to the Bay Area before moving to South Lake Tahoe. Now a skiier and jogger, he maintains a low-profile practice emphasizing civil litigation in El Dorado County. He has a wife and two sons, both of whom are married and living in the Bay Area. He has tried cases to judgment (bench trials) and to verdict (juries), and is prolific in civil procedure, both in federal court and in state court.
