About
Daniel Schwartz has a background in both tax law and tax accounting and incorporates elements of both into a hybrid tax practice that is focused on income, gift, and estate tax planning, which includes business and estate planning, as well as income, gift, and estate tax return preparation. Planning and Preparation are two sides of the same coin and being able to do both allows Daniel Schwartz to provide continuity and efficiency on any project, save as much tax money as possible, and protect his clients from penalties and audit. Daniel Schwartz graduated from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 2009 and obtained his CPA license in 2012. He also graduated from the University of California, Davis with Honors in History in 2005. Daniel has been published in Valley Lawyer magazine and LA Lawyer Magazine as well as the USC School of Law Interdisciplinary Law Journal. While in law school, he served as the articles editor of the USC Interdisciplinary Law Journal, volunteered for the Small Business Clinic, and was a research assistant for a law school professor who was updating her textbook on Legislation. Daniel spends most of his free time with his young family and also enjoys tennis, hiking, foreign travel, and anything history-related. Daniel can be reached at dan@sandsapc.com.
