About
Gary E. Junge is a Director at Schmittinger & Rodriguez, continuing the firm’s “A Tradition of Legal Excellence” through practical, client-focused representation across a wide range of legal matters. Raised in a military family, he spent his early years moving frequently before settling in Delaware and graduating from Dover High School. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Wilmington University in 2010 and his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Widener University Delaware Law School in 2015, where he served as External Managing Editor of the Widener Law Review and President of the Moot Court Honor Society. Mr. Junge brings a distinctive background to his practice, including 24 years of service in the United States Air Force Reserves at Dover Air Force Base and prior experience with Verizon, where he also served as a Divisional Vice President for the Communications Workers of America. This combination of military, corporate, and union leadership experience provides him with valuable perspective when advocating for clients in employment law, personal injury, civil litigation, and criminal defense matters. He is admitted to practice in Delaware and Pennsylvania, as well as before the United States District Court for the District of Delaware and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Active in the legal community, Mr. Junge is a Past President of the Kent County Bar Association, a Board Member of the Terry-Carey Inn of Court, and a member of several professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, Delaware State Bar Association, Delaware Trial Lawyers Association, and the National College for DUI Defense. Known for his approachable style and practical mindset, he works closely with clients to provide clear guidance and pursue effective, results-driven solutions.
