About
I grew up in the small town of Georgetown, Indiana, where I learned the value of hard work early on from my parents, who both worked long hours and rarely took time off. With a passion for History and a desire to coach football, I attended Indiana University Southeast and graduated with a B.S. in Secondary Education. After college, I spent several years working as a High School History Teacher and Football Coach. Later, I decided to pursue a legal career and attended the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law. During law school, I gained valuable experience working as a law clerk at the Indiana Attorney General’s Office and for the Internal Revenue Service Office of Chief Counsel. After earning my law degree, I followed my long-standing desire to live in the Carolinas and moved to South Carolina. There, I served as an Assistant Solicitor for the 16th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, where I gained criminal trial experience. From there, I transitioned to working as a Real Estate Closing Attorney for Stelzner Law Firm and later served as a Public Defender for York County. As part of my commitment to serving my community, I currently serve as Treasurer for the York County Bar Association, supporting law-related community initiatives. My dedication to pursuing justice on behalf of my clients inspired me to join Schiller Hamilton.
