About
For more than three decades, Leon Sarkisian has represented individuals and families across Northwest Indiana who have suffered serious injuries or tragic loss due to the negligence of others. His practice is devoted exclusively to personal injury matters, including motor vehicle collisions, workplace incidents, and premises liability claims. Raised in a hardworking family, Leon understands firsthand how deeply an unexpected injury or death can impact a household. Having worked his way through college in construction, custodial, and other labor positions, he brings both practical perspective and personal empathy to every case. He believes that when a parent, spouse, or child is harmed, the consequences extend far beyond medical bills — they affect the stability and future of an entire family. That belief continues to guide his work. A lifelong resident of Northwest Indiana, Leon earned his undergraduate degree with honors from Northwestern University in 1978. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 1981, graduating cum laude. Immediately after law school, he returned home to begin serving clients in his community. Leon has earned recognition for his professional standards and commitment to client advocacy. He holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting the highest level of peer-rated professional excellence. He has also been selected as an Indiana Super Lawyer and is a Lifetime Member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
