Leigh Anne is the Managing Partner of the Nashville office of Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight, Firmwide Co-Head of Litigation, a Co-Chair of the firm's Discrimination and Harassment Practice Group, and Co-Chair of the firm's Financial Mismanagement and ERISA Litigation Practice Group. Since joining the firm, Leigh Anne has earned widespread recognition in the legal community. She was named a Mid-South Rising Star by Super Lawyers, selected as one of Tennessee’s Top 40 Under 40 Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers Association, and recognized in both the 2021 and 2022 editions of The Best Lawyers in America as a “Ones to Watch” in the field of Employment Law – Individuals. Leigh Anne’s practice at Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight centers on discrimination, harassment, and financial services litigation. She has represented both individuals and classes in cases involving gender, age, FMLA, and disability discrimination, as well as retaliation. In her financial services work, she represents workers nationwide in cases involving breach of fiduciary duty and mismanagement of 401(k) plans. Admitted to the bars of Tennessee and the District of Columbia, Leigh Anne also co-authored the article Brokerage Windows in 401(k) Plans: The Total Abdication of Fiduciary Responsibility, which appeared in the Winter 2021 edition of the Benefits Law Journal.
