About
I am a trial attorney dedicated to representing individuals and groups who have suffered due to wrongful death, toxic exposure, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, and various types of accidents including auto, trucking, construction, and workplace incidents. I also handle cases involving sexual abuse, including those against clergy and the Boy Scouts, as well as product defect cases involving Zantac, Round-Up/Monsanto, Talc, and Ethylene Oxide. Throughout my career, I have been instrumental in achieving numerous record-setting multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for clients adversely affected by wrongful actions. Beyond securing substantial recoveries, I am committed to taking on cases that have the potential to change policies or laws to safeguard future generations. I have represented many victims of childhood sexual abuse and am currently handling multiple cases against the Boy Scouts of America, the Catholic Church, and other religious organizations. My efforts have brought to light systemic abuse and cover-ups, resulting in significant settlements, including a recent $2.1 million settlement for a 7-year-old abused by a Church camp counselor. Recognizing the profound effects of child abuse, I have also pursued school bullying cases, achieving a $250,000 verdict in Woodford County, Illinois—the largest reported bullying verdict in the state. I am frequently called upon to discuss my cases in the media. My appearances include Fox 32 and ABC 7, where I discussed toxic exposure issues in Chicago’s western suburbs related to Sterigenics. I have also been interviewed by the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin regarding priest abuse lawsuits, and I have appeared on the Legal Broadcasting Network to talk about a federal class action lawsuit against the City of Chicago.
