Max Lavit Rosenberg

I am Attorney Max L. Rosenberg, and I dedicate my practice to assisting clients who are facing financial difficulties, providing them with compassionate counsel. I represent clients throughout all stages of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings. In addition to my focus on bankruptcy, I also represent injured parties in personal injury claims, including car accidents, slip and falls, and dog bites. I offer legal services to business owners in matters of creation, dissolution, and contracts. My experience also extends to divorce mediation, corporate and civil litigation, foreclosure defense, and workers' compensation. During my time practicing in New York, I mediated disputes at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and had the opportunity to argue in every Borough of New York City as well as Long Island. I also served as an instructor at the John Jay College School of Criminal Justice. I hold Masters Degrees in Sociology and Religion from Columbia University and Union Theological Seminary, with a focus on Liturgiology. I graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Currently, I serve as the United States corporate counsel for the British Belt Company, various co-ops and common interest housing associations, the Bridgeport WPCA, and Park City Apartments. In November 2018, I was elected as the Judge of Stratford, Connecticut's Probate Court.
