Michael John Famiglietti

I earned my J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2011 and my B.S. from Farmingdale State College in 2007. I joined Rosenberg & Gluck in April 2014 as an associate, and in September 2019, I became a partner. I was admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey in 2012. After law school, I was honored to be selected as a Fellow by The Honorable Francis B. Schultz of Hudson County Superior Court. I also served as a Fellow for the New York State Division of Human Rights, where I advocated for individuals who had experienced discrimination. In 2012, I began working as an associate at a boutique law firm that concentrated on personal injury and negligence cases. I am proud to be a member of the New York Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the Suffolk County Bar Association. I became an attorney because I believe in standing up for people who cannot stand up for themselves. At a young age, I realized that life isn’t always fair. Bad things happen to good people. And when someone is at their lowest—injured, overwhelmed, uncertain about what comes next—they need someone willing to speak up and fight for them. I knew I wanted to be that person. Today, I represent individuals in personal injury cases, often going head-to-head with billion-dollar insurance companies to ensure my clients get a fair fight. Advocacy, to me, is more than reviewing medical records and police reports. Those documents tell part of the story in black and white—but they don’t tell the whole story. What truly makes a difference is the relationship I build with my clients. When we take the time to understand each other, the case becomes more than paperwork—it becomes personal. I learn what it means when a grandfather can’t lift his grandson because of an injury. I understand the stress and fear that come when someone can’t work due to a bad back and can’t provide for their family. That context matters.
