Christopher Alexander Sutton

Family law Attorney Christopher Sutton is a Partner at Robinson & Henry. Chris helps individuals work through complex circumstances, such as divorce, custody disputes, and obtaining protection orders. A former environmental scientist, Chris made the switch to law after he was inspired by an attorney’s tireless efforts to help a client whose health and property suffered due to toxic waste contamination. Chris began his legal career as a prosecutor. He handled and tried an array of crimes, including homicides and sexual offenses. After a decade of balancing the disheartening and rewarding work that comes with being a prosecutor, Chris chose to enter private practice. His wife, also a family law attorney, encouraged him to consider family law. Today, Chris continues to serve families facing life-changing events. Whether a divorce or post-modification matter, he works to ensure his clients and their children are in the best position to move forward with their lives. Clients who retain Chris can expect a diligent lawyer who strives to obtain the most favorable outcome for them through negotiations. If talks happen to fail, Chris’ significant trial experience is beneficial as he and his clients prepare for court. When Chris is away from the office, he enjoys some adventure and exercise.
