About
Joseph J. Rhoades is the founder of Rhoades & Morrow and has spent decades representing individuals in personal injury and workers’ compensation matters throughout Delaware. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware and his law degree, magna cum laude, from Widener University Delaware Law School. Following law school, Mr. Rhoades served as a law clerk to The Honorable Henry R. Horsey of the Delaware Supreme Court. He has since built a practice focused on advocating for injured individuals and navigating complex claims involving insurance carriers and employers. Mr. Rhoades has held numerous leadership roles within the legal community, including Past President of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association, where he continues to serve on the Board of Governors. He has also played an active role in shaping Delaware’s workers’ compensation system, serving as Chair of the Workers’ Compensation Oversight Panel and previously as Chair of both the Workers’ Compensation Advisory Council and the Health Care Advisory Panel. In addition, he serves as Vice Chair of the Delaware Superior Court Civil Rules Committee and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association for Justice and the American Constitution Society. He is also involved with organizations supporting individuals with brain injuries, including the Brain Injury Association of Delaware and the Brain Injury Association of America. Mr. Rhoades brings a practical, experienced approach to every case, focused on helping clients understand their options and move forward with confidence.
