About
I’m Sam Jackson, one of the founding partners at Ratliff Jackson, LLP. I’m dedicated to helping my clients achieve the best possible outcomes, whether through negotiated settlements, trial victories, or successfully overturning unfavorable decisions on appeal. Originally from Central Florida, I attended Rice University in Houston, Texas, as a National Merit Scholar, where I studied orchestral trombone performance and organized know-your-rights seminars with the Rice University ACLU. I earned my law degree from Fordham University School of Law, where I served as Director of the Suspension Representation Project and an editor for Fordham’s International Law Journal. I also had the privilege of clerking for Justice Adrian Hardiman of Ireland’s Supreme Court while studying abroad. My practice focuses on civil litigation, where I represent both plaintiffs and defendants in a range of areas, including personal injury, civil rights, consumer fraud, breach of contract and business disputes, funeral home litigation, student and professional license defense, and family law matters like custody, divorce, and domestic violence. I’m licensed to practice in all Municipal and Superior Courts in New Jersey, as well as federally in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the District of New Jersey Bankruptcy Court, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. If you’re looking for a results-driven advocate who is focused on delivering justice, feel free to reach out. I’m here to help.
