About

Ramil Kaminsky is the first-generation American son of Jewish Uzbek immigrants who fled the Soviet Union (U.S.S.R) under threat of religious persecution. He was raised on Brighton Beach, NY, also known as “Little Moscow”, where he learned not only about the “evils of communism”, but also the value of being an American. Young Ramil was very blessed. Unlike other Jewish parents, who only wanted medical doctors, Ramil’s parents gave him options to either be a medical doctor, a lawyer, or an accountant. Ramil’s parents pursued the American dream from New York to Florida. He moved to the Tampa Bay Area as a Junior in high school; where he attended, and ultimately graduated Freedom High School. Staying local, he studied at the Honors College at the University of South Florida (“USF”); where he graduated with dual undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Biomedical Sciences. Continuing to enjoy the Sunshine State, Ramil attended Stetson University College of Law, Gulfport, Florida where he received his Juris Doctor. During law school, Ramil was presented with the Mark L. Levine Award for demonstrating significant growth as a person and professional during his time at the College of Law and for emerging as a respected campus leader. He also served as President of the Calvin A. Kuenzel Student Bar Association; President of the Jewish Law Student Association; a certified legal intern for the Office of the State’s Attorney for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida; a law clerk for the Office of the State’s Attorney for the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida; an intern for Washpat, LLC, an intellectual property search firm; and an intern with the Florida Office of the Attorney General Children’s Legal Services Department. Ramil also received the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award for performing over 120 hours of pro bono service. He is now a Florida licensed attorney, small business owner, and Franchisee.
