I spent the first part of my career with top corporate law firms, Cravath, Swaine & Moore, Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where I became a partner. My clients were corporations and investment banks -- such as Air France, Huaneng Power, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and HSBC -- who demanded that their attorneys walk through walls to win a case or close a deal.
