William Salkin

I’m Will Salkin, a Colorado attorney and the founder of Prompt Counsel PLLC, a Denver-based law firm built on the belief that everyone deserves prompt, clear, and effective legal representation. With ten years of legal experience, I bring a diverse and practical background to my work. My legal journey began as a Judicial Extern at the Hancock County Court in Findlay, Ohio. After that, I worked with LexisNexis on the Shepard's Caselaw Analysis team, refining my research abilities before transitioning to private practice. I further worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Colorado's 12th Judicial District, where I sharpened my litigation skills and developed strong courtroom discipline. In private practice, I focused on civil litigation, real estate disputes, and landlord/tenant matters, representing clients in courts across Colorado. I established Prompt Counsel PLLC to make experienced legal representation more accessible. At the firm, we use AI-assisted tools to help clients quickly assess their legal situations and provide clear answers, all while maintaining the human judgment necessary for complex matters. My work centers on civil litigation, business disputes, contracts, and the emerging field of AI compliance and internal AI policy development, helping businesses navigate Colorado's changing legal environment. I was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 2020.
