Samantha Pearl is an associate attorney with 9+ years experience in complex civil litigation, including employment law, civil rights, medical malpractice, personal injury, art & entertainment law, and consumer protection, as well as some criminal and traffic cases. A dedicated advocate for mental health, disability rights, and LGBTQ+ rights, she also has a strong interest in international human rights. Samantha earned her Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, where she received a certificate from the Comparative and International Law Institute. During law school, she served as a Staff Editor for the Catholic University Law Review and held multiple leadership positions, including founding President of the Gender & Sexuality Law Forum, Vice Justice of Phi Alpha Delta, and Captain of the Mock Trial Team. Now, in addition to her legal practice, Samantha coaches Phi Alpha Delta’s Mock Trial Team, mentoring law students in trial advocacy and litigation strategy. Samantha also serves as the Vice President of Institutional Advancement for the Wheeling Academy of Law and Science (“WALS”) Foundation, and as the Public Relations Chair of the Young Lawyers' Division of the Bar Association of Baltimore City ("YLD BABC"). Originally from Wheeling, West Virginia, Samantha is a first-generation college graduate, and the proud granddaughter of a coal miner.
