About
Polatsek, Boheme & Wilkowski advises employers and families on work visas, PERM labor certification, and permanent residency under U.S. immigration law. The firm provides guidance on H-1B sponsorship, employment-based green cards, investor visas, and family immigration matters. Mr. Polatsek brings a strong litigation background and strategic perspective to the firm’s immigration practice. With more than a decade of experience representing clients in complex legal matters, he provides thoughtful and disciplined advocacy for individuals, families, and businesses navigating the U.S. immigration system. Mr. Polatsek began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Mark W. Klingensmith of Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeal. He later practiced at both a large Florida-based firm and a national firm, where he handled complex commercial litigation, product liability defense, business disputes, and appellate matters throughout the country in state and federal courts. He now focuses his practice exclusively on U.S. immigration and nationality law. His experience includes employment-based and family-based immigration, investor and professional visas, the PERM (Labor Certification) process, naturalization, and removal proceedings. Mr. Polatsek earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in 2009 and graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, cum laude, in 2014. As an undergraduate he performed as a bassoonist in the Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Band, and in law school he served as Executive Symposium Editor and Managing Editor of the Florida Law Review. Mr. Polatsek is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
