Ashley W. Phillips

I am a multi-state licensed attorney* with 12 years of legal experience spanning areas such as bankruptcy, immigration defense, domestic litigation, child custody, wills and testaments, large-scale corporate litigation, criminal felony and misdemeanor defense, debt defense, plaintiff’s personal injury, and more. Currently, I focus my practice on bankruptcy, immigration defense, and family law disputes involving military members and their families. As the spouse of a military service member, I am proud to serve South Alabama, concentrating on domestic disputes between spouses and parents, particularly addressing the unique needs of Active Duty Military Members navigating divorce and custody challenges. I fully understand the significant financial strain and emotional stress that domestic litigation can bring. These are often among the most difficult times in a parent’s life, both emotionally and financially. Having been a single parent myself, I endured years of litigation over my own child, who is now an adult. This personal experience as a former single parent litigant deeply informs my approach to practicing law. I know firsthand what it means to be a parent fighting for their child. *I am actively licensed in Alabama only. My licenses in Louisiana, Georgia, and Virginia are inactive, and I am currently unable to accept cases or provide legal advice for matters in those states due to this inactive status.
