LeAnne Passmore Cooper

I’m LeAnne Cooper, a family law attorney with over two decades of experience guiding clients through the often difficult process of divorce. Based in Covington, Georgia, I handle family law matters, including divorce, spousal support, child custody, property distribution, and post-decree litigation. My focus is on supporting clients during what can be one of the most challenging periods of their lives. Clear communication is key to my approach, as I believe it’s key for clients to feel informed and involved at every stage of their case. This transparency helps foster trust, set realistic expectations, and create a vision for a more positive future. I earned my Juris Doctor from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. Before joining Petrelli Previtera, LLC, I spent over 15 years as the principal attorney at my own firm and served as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia for eight years. As a lifelong Georgia resident, I am deeply connected to the community and have a deep understanding of the state’s legal system. Being the first in my family to attend college, I hold hard work and determination close to my heart.
