Billie Jo Sowinski

Billie Jo L. Sowinski is a Colorado-based family law attorney. She has been practicing exclusively in this field since 2018 after completing her Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of South Dakota. With experience in high estate and high conflict dissolution matters, Billie Jo handles various aspects of family law, including dissolutions of marriage, child custody cases, legal separation, modifications, contempt cases, and adoptions. Billie Jo's passion for family law developed when she reviewed her parents' dissolution papers after high school. Witnessing the stress it caused, she strives to provide utmost care, responsiveness, and guidance to her clients throughout the legal process. She ensures her clients are informed about potential challenges, relevant laws, and court procedures specific to their cases. Billie Jo believes in open and candid conversations to understand her clients' needs and goals. When necessary, she is well-prepared and enjoys courtroom appearances. Outside of work, Billie Jo enjoys hiking with her dogs and attending car shows in Denver.
