Marc Saggese

Marc Anthony Saggese attended the State University of New York at Cortland and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree (cum laude) in Political Science. Saggese received his Juris Doctorate degree from Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, in Washington, D.C. After obtaining his law degree, Saggese served as a Captain in the United States Army, Judge Advocate General Corps. Saggese has been practicing law for 27 years. He is a civil and criminal trial attorney. Saggese was a pro tempore Judge for the Las Vegas Municipal Court System, a Small Claims Court Judge, a Justice Court Judge and a Traffic Court Magistrate. Attorney Saggese is licensed in Nevada, Georgia, Texas, the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. Marc Saggese is also the inspiration for the character, Pete Kaczmarek, played by Jerry O'Connell, in the CBS TV drama, "The Defenders." He worked closely with the writers on the scripts and provided the legal and storyline authenticity for the show.
