About

Michael Perenich is a third-generation personal injury attorney, continuing the legacy established by his grandfather, Guy Perenich, who began his legal career in Clearwater, Florida in 1955. Michael was born in Clearwater, raised in Tarpon Springs, and now resides in Palm Harbor. He is an alumnus of East Lake High School and holds a degree in Philosophy from the University of South Florida. During his time at USF, Michael was selected as a member of the Ethics Bowl team, leading them to a high regional placement and a spot in the National Competition. He also served as Vice President of the campus Philosophy Organization. After completing his undergraduate studies, Michael attended Loyola University New Orleans College of Law—following in his father’s footsteps. During law school, he interned for the Honorable Judge Robert Morris of the Second District Court of Appeal and joined international study programs in Budapest, Hungary, and Istanbul, Turkey, focusing on International Transactions and Central European Legal Systems. In his third year, Michael was accepted to study at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he received the Honorable R. Grable Stoutamire Book Award for American Legal Thought and earned distinction in Trial Practice. He graduated from law school in 2012 and immediately began litigating cases with his father. Michael’s experience includes catastrophic injury, product liability, wrongful death, medical malpractice, trucking accidents, and other complex areas of law. He excels in cases that challenge his advocacy skills and creativity.
