Vanessa I. Peake

Vanessa was born and raised in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. She moved to the United States in 2005, were she embarked on her adventure to learn the English language and the culture. In 2008, Vanessa and her husband, Jonathan, moved to New Mexico and started their family. Vanessa continued with her dream for higher education and earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of New Mexico, magna cum laude. Vanessa subsequently earned a juris doctor from the University Of New Mexico School of Law. She began her legal career at the District Attorney’s Office in the Second District where she gained first hand trial and courtroom experience. Vanessa diligently prosecuted DWI cases and worked tirelessly advocating for victims of Domestic Violence. Vanessa’s interest in psychology and human behavior motivated her to devote her career to the practice of Family Law.
