Sterling Bowers

Sterling J. Bowers brings a unique combination of determination, common sense, and legal acumen to every case he handles. Born and raised in eastern New Mexico, he spent his early years ranching, rodeoing, and working in agricultural construction. These experiences instilled the values of hard work, perseverance, and integrity. He attained his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska, Omaha, and then graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law. There, he found his passion for the courtroom, winning every trial competition he entered and earning scholarships. Sterling sharpened his legal writing skills at the nationally recognized Gerry Spence Law Firm in Jackson, Wyoming, where he also learned the art of personal injury, wrongful death, and civil rights litigation. Despite the beauty of the Grand Tetons, the call of home was too strong to ignore. He returned to the Llano Estacado region to serve as an Assistant District Attorney in the Ninth Judicial District, where he prosecuted misdemeanor and felony cases, maintaining a perfect trial record. Sterling is a natural storyteller and a born leader with a deep ability to connect with people. His greatest strength is telling his clients’ stories with sincerity and passion. His approach is assertive yet grounded, driven by his blue-collar work ethic and intense desire for justice. Outside of his legal practice, Sterling enjoys making music, writing, jiu-jitsu, spearfishing, skiing, traveling, making his wife laugh, and spending time with loved ones.
