About
I am the Managing Attorney of Parakletos Law PLC in Hudsonville, Michigan, where I serve individuals, families, and small businesses throughout West Michigan. My practice focuses on probate and estate planning, family law, adoption, business law, and immigration matters. I am committed to providing thoughtful, client-centered legal counsel grounded in integrity, service, and practical problem-solving. Prior to entering the legal profession, I served as a Military Police Officer with the 716th Military Police Battalion at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. My military service instilled discipline, accountability, and a strong sense of duty—principles that continue to guide my legal practice today. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Science Education from Calvin University before pursuing my legal education at Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School. I graduated cum laude and was honored with the Distinguished Student Award, the law school’s highest recognition, as well as the Top Advocate Award for Moot Court. Before founding Parakletos Law PLC, I gained experience in estate planning, probate administration, and family law through both private practice and public service roles, including work with county government. This background allows me to approach each case with a balanced understanding of legal procedure, practical outcomes, and client needs. In addition to my legal practice, I serve as an adjunct professor at Davenport University. Outside of work, I value time with my wife and children, remain active in my church, and stay engaged in my local community.
