About
Attorney Omar Khawaja founded Omar Khawaja Personal Injury Lawyers in 2018 with a singular purpose—to help accident victims and their families recover after life-altering injuries. Since opening his firm, Omar has used his courtroom experience, strategic insight, and client-first approach to help recover millions of dollars for people harmed by negligence throughout Texas. Omar’s legal career began on the prosecution side, where he served as an Assistant District Attorney in Midland County and Fort Bend County. In that role, he prosecuted dozens of misdemeanor and felony cases from start to verdict, gaining extensive trial experience and a deep understanding of how cases are built, challenged, and resolved in court. That foundation continues to shape his work today, allowing him to anticipate defense strategies and prepare each case as if it will go to trial. After earning his bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Arizona, Omar obtained his Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. While in law school, he clerked at the Securities and Exchange Commission and worked in the legal department for the City of Houston. Earlier in his career, he also served as a congressional aide, which provided him with valuable insight into public policy and the systems that impact injury law. As an attorney, Omar is committed to providing personalized attention and honest guidance to every client. He understands the physical, emotional, and financial strain serious injuries place on families and works tirelessly to pursue fair compensation from insurance companies and other responsible parties. His practice focuses on car accidents, truck accidents, wrongful death, and catastrophic injury cases. Above all, Omar believes injured individuals deserve strong advocacy paired with genuine compassion, and he brings both to every case he handles.
