Omar Husain

Omar Husain is a Kansas City native and a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Law. He brings significant trial experience to his practice, having begun his legal career in civil defense litigation, where he gained valuable insight into how cases are evaluated and defended. He later transitioned to plaintiff-side work and now represents injured clients at DM Injury Law. Omar emphasizes a client-first approach rooted in listening, trust, and building genuine connections. He is actively involved in the Kansas City community through Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City and serves on boards within the local Muslim community. In addition to his legal career, Omar co-owns The Workout Kansas City, an outdoor group fitness company. Outside of work, he and his wife enjoy exploring new coffee shops, and he spends his free time playing basketball, competing and training for Hyrox competitions, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.
