Diane Price

I represent adults facing misdemeanor and felony charges in District and Superior Courts in Mecklenburg County and nearby areas. Additionally, I advocate for individuals charged in federal District Court for the Western District of North Carolina. While I handle a wide range of criminal cases, I have a particular interest in defending against domestic violence allegations, sex offenses, and cases involving evidence obtained by the government in violation of constitutional rights. I also assist individuals seeking expungement of criminal records or removal from the sex offender registry. My entire legal career has been dedicated to criminal defense through direct representation and policy work. After graduating from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2008, I began working as an assistant public defender in Mecklenburg County, representing clients who could not afford legal counsel in District and Superior Courts. From 2014 to 2017, I served as the Public Defense Training Manager for the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers in Washington, D.C., where I organized training programs for public defenders and private assigned counsel while promoting reform initiatives in various states. Between 2017 and 2023, I returned to public defense, working in Camden, New Jersey, to defend clients in serious criminal cases. In 2023, I came back to North Carolina to continue my work as a criminal defense attorney with The Olsinski Law Firm, where I became a Partner in 2026.
