Monte Sharits

Monte Sharits is a partner at Odom Law Firm in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He practices across multiple areas, including personal injury, hospital negligence, nursing home litigation, product liability, commercial litigation, breach of contract, homeowner insurance disputes, and federal tort claims. Before practicing law, Monte served as a U.S. Navy SEAL from 1995 to 2007, both as a combat veteran and instructor. Monte brings the discipline, precision, and mission-focused mindset of a former Navy SEAL to every case he takes on. Born and raised in Fresno, California, Monte enlisted in the U.S. Navy after high school with a singular goal: to become a Navy SEAL. After completing one of the most demanding warfighter training programs in the world, he served at SEAL Team One and was deployed to Afghanistan in 2002 as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. A decorated combat veteran, he returned stateside to become a SEAL instructor while simultaneously earning his bachelor’s degree. After nearly 12 years of military service, Monte set his sights on a new mission—the law. While in law school, he clerked at Odom Law Firm, where he spent two years proving that his work ethic, strategic thinking, and team-first mindset translated effectively to legal practice. After becoming licensed in Arkansas in 2010, Monte joined the firm as an associate and, in 2014, became a partner. Today, Monte is known for his relentless advocacy, tactical case management, and unwavering commitment to results. Whether advocating in the courtroom or leading within the firm, he operates with the same integrity and intensity that defined his military service. Monte lives in Fayetteville with his wife, Susan, and is the proud father of three adult children—Jacob, Juliet, and Ellie—and two grandchildren who keep him on his toes. When he’s not in the office, you’ll likely find him at Razorback sporting events or chasing grandkids around town.
