Deirdre Taber Kingsbury

My mission is to assist my clients in navigating the complexities of lawsuits, divorce, and appeals. I bring a wealth of experience as a family lawyer, trial lawyer, and appellate lawyer. Together with my partner Noreen M. Evans, Certified Appellate Specialist, I have successfully managed a wide range of civil and family law appeals and writs. In my practice of family law, I support my clients through the divorce process with both dignity and compassion. My unique perspective comes from my personal experience, having raised six children and represented myself in my own divorce case. Additionally, I have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by families dealing with conflict and mental health issues. I have been rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, an honor that recognizes attorneys who are ranked by their peers at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills, and ethical standards. I hold a degree in Psychology from UC Davis and earned my law degree from UC Berkeley’s School of Law in 1986. I was raised on a dairy ranch in Sebastopol and have spent most of my life in Sonoma County.
