Joseph Michael Langone

Mr. Langone has been practicing law for over twenty-eight years and has been in the Northern Virginia Area since 1999. Mr. Langone is currently employed as a legal instructor at the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy. Mr. Langone was employed in the financial service and insurance industries before his legal career. After graduation from law school, Mr. Langone had a successful career as a prosecutor in the state of Florida and Virginia. Mr. Langone has also been a magistrate in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Mr. Langone was engaged in private practice for 19 years in the DMV area and those areas of private practice have included criminal and civil litigation, contract and construction law, commercial litigation, bankruptcy law, and personal injury including accident cases, slip & fall, toxic mold, and wrongful death. Mr. Langone has extensive trial experience in state and federal courts in VA, DC and MD and has performed a broad spectrum of litigation including intense document review for legal sufficiency, discovery, and depositions. Mr. Langone has provided legal support to many businesses in the area and acted as their general counsel in managing litigation. Mr. Langone has served in the United States Coast Guard, Auxiliary as a legal assistance attorney and as a Staff Judge Advocate in the Virginia State Guard, commonly known as the Virginia Defense Force.
