About
I am passionate about transforming the practice of Family Law. I established New Leaf Family with two main goals in mind: to empower clients to make informed decisions for themselves and their families, and to simplify the financial aspects of Family Law, making them more predictable for our clients. I believe that by allowing our clients to maintain control over most decisions, they will experience greater satisfaction with the outcomes, and their families will emerge from the process in much better condition. I received my A.B. from Cornell University during an era when mullets were still in fashion for some, and seriousness was a common trait among them. After my time at Cornell, I moved to Georgia to pursue my J.D. at the University of Georgia, a period when the radio played songs about things being "ironic" that really weren’t. My legal career began in the Bronx District Attorney’s office, where I prosecuted individuals accused of severe sex crimes. The courtroom quickly became like a second home to me. Throughout my career, I have handled a wide range of legal matters, from contentious divorces and custody disputes to serving as general counsel for tech companies and representing pilots in licensing issues. Known for being a formidable trial lawyer when necessary, I also frequently share my knowledge on legal technology and law practice management at major legal conferences. Additionally, I assist other lawyers nationwide in enhancing their law practices.
