About

Michele Diglio-Benkiran is the founder of Legal Counsel, P.A. Mrs. Diglio-Benkiran has been practicing law for over 24 years with a special emphasis on Real Estate and Business Law. Mrs. Diglio-Benkiran earned her Juris Doctor Cum Laude from Michigan State University College of Law in 1999 where she was the Business Manager of Journal of Medicine and Law, Justice of Phi Alpha Delta, a scholarship recipient, and published in Who’s Who: American Law Students 1998. She graduated from law school and immediately began working at the Office of the State Attorney – 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida where she gained valuable courtroom experience prosecuting both misdemeanor and felony cases. Michele Diglio-Benkiran grew up in an entrepreneurial family where she learned business fundamentals at a very early age. Over the years Mrs. Diglio-Benkiran owned several thriving businesses. As such, Mrs. Diglio-Benkiran understands the fundamentals of successful business practices. She incorporates this “hands-on” business knowledge and experience when counseling her business clients. Mrs. Diglio-Benkiran understands, implements and counsels on the principals of “deal making” and not “deal breaking.” Additionally, Ms. Diglio-Benkiran dedicates a significant portion of her practice to Real Estate Law. For over 2 decades, Ms. Diglio-Benkiran has represented commercial and residential clients in real estate acquisition and sales, commercial condominium developments, homeowner associations, leasing, financing, and real estate related litigation cases. Her real estate law experience involves litigation cases (foreclosures, quiet title actions, partitions, ejectments, etc.), closings, transactional matters, tax deeds, commercial development, and investor representation. She has a special interest in her investor/wholesale clients as she assists her investor clients by “cleaning up” properties containing various encumbrances, code violations, defects, liens, etc.
