Joseph Wittman

I have practiced bankruptcy law for 30 plus years. I am a graduate of the University of Kansas with a law degree from Washburn University Law School. I have been a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy trustee for 25 years and handled over 18,000 cases as a trustee. AS a trustee I would review cases filed by other attorneys and find assets which would be available to pay to creditors. Only a few attorneys in Kansas have this experience and only a couple in the Topeka, KS area. I am a member of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees (NABT), the National Association of Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) and the Topeka Area Bankruptcy Council (TABC). As a debtor's counsel I have filed hundreds of cases from the relatively easy case to the more involved case to try and assist my clients in retaining their assets and discharging all debts which are possible to discharge.
