Jonathan E. Bleyer

Jonathan has worked in the legal industry for over 10 years. In addition to his current work, he previously represented clients in matters involving insurance coverage and insurance defense. His time spent defending insurance companies provided him with unique insight into how carriers evaluate claims. He uses this experience to his clients’ advantage when insurance companies refuse to pay his clients the compensation they are due. Since joining the plaintiffs’ bar, Jonathan has successfully obtained millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements on behalf of hundreds of injured clients and the surviving loved ones of wrongful death victims. Jonathan graduated from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale with a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television in 2004. Subsequently, he earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law, manga cum laude, in 2011. During law school, he was selected as a member of the South Texas Law Review and recognized for his academic excellence with the CALI Award for highest grade in Criminal Procedure, CALI Award for highest grade in Legal Research & Writing I, and CALI Award for highest grade in Legal Research & Writing II. In addition, he was selected for inclusion in Order of the Lytae and Phi Delta Phi. While attending law school, Jonathan interned for the Texas First Court of Appeals and the Fourteenth Court of Appeals. He is licensed to practice law in three states – Texas, Illinois, and Colorado. Jonathan is a member of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Houston Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, Illinois State Bar Association, and American Bar Association. Jonathan was born to be a trial lawyer – he comes from a family of trial lawyers in his home state of Illinois.
