About
Nicholas A. “Nick” Morrow is a trial attorney and founding partner of Morrow & Sheppard LLP, a Houston-based litigation firm focused on serious trucking accidents, maritime and offshore injury cases, and complex workplace injury litigation. Mr. Morrow represents individuals and families in high-stakes cases involving catastrophic harm, commercial defendants, and heavily contested liability. Mr. Morrow is a fourth-generation Texan who grew up in Sealy, Texas. He attended Cornell University before returning home to graduate with high honors from The University of Texas at Austin. He then earned his law degree with honors from The University of Texas School of Law. While still in law school, Mr. Morrow was recruited by Fulbright & Jaworski in Houston, one of the nation’s most prominent trial firms. He later became an equity partner at the firm, representing large corporations and insurance carriers in complex, high-value litigation. During that time, he handled cases ranging from multi-million-dollar disputes to matters involving exposures exceeding one billion dollars. His experience on the defense side provides unique insight into how corporations and insurers evaluate and litigate serious injury claims. Today, Mr. Morrow applies that background to representing injured individuals in cases involving 18-wheeler collisions, offshore and maritime injuries under the Jones Act and general maritime law, and industrial and workplace accident litigation, including Texas non-subscriber claims. Mr. Morrow has extensive experience in state and federal courts and is involved in all phases of litigation, from early investigation through trial and settlement. His practice emphasizes strategic preparation, evidence preservation, and trial readiness in complex injury matters.
