About
Jack T. Cook is a managing partner of Morgan & Morgan’s Birth Injury Trial Group. He received his undergraduate degree from University of North Carolina Wilmington, a graduate degree from University of Central Florida Orlando, and his Juris Doctorate from Florida A&M University College of Law. Mr. Cook began his career in the United States Marine Corps before turning to law. Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan, he earned acclaim and recognition as a skilled litigator and trial lawyer in both medical malpractice and birth injury litigation. Mr. Cook formerly represented the interests of physicians, physician groups, and hospitals, but has since devoted his expertise to the representation of injured patients and their families. Since joining Morgan & Morgan in 2018, Mr. Cook has successfully represented clients in birth injury litigation to include cases involving birth trauma, birth defects, brain damage, brachial plexus injuries, and stillbirth. Mr. Cook holds the distinguished AV-Preeminent rating by Martindale Hubbell and has been certified as a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an organization recognized as one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States. Mr. Cook is also a proud member of The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100, an invitation-only organization composed of premier trial lawyers who meet stringent qualifications as civil plaintiff and/or criminal defense trial lawyers. In 2021, Mr. Cook was recognized by both the Daily Business Review and American Lawyer Magazine for his efforts in representing and advocating on behalf of those suffering from mental health disorders and/or drug addiction and was consequently awarded ALM’s Trailblazer Award.
