David Mathew Mayer

David M. Mayer is the managing shareholder of Monsees & Mayer, P.C., representing survivors of sexual abuse and individuals seriously injured by negligence throughout Missouri and Kansas. With offices in Kansas City, Springfield, Branson, and St. Joseph, he has dedicated his career to helping clients through some of the most difficult moments of their lives while pursuing justice and accountability on their behalf. For decades, David has handled complex litigation involving child sexual abuse, boarding school abuse, clergy abuse, institutional negligence, catastrophic injury, truck accidents, automobile collisions, and wrongful death claims. He is widely recognized for representing survivors in high-profile cases against schools, churches, youth organizations, corporations, and other institutions that failed to protect vulnerable individuals. Known for thorough preparation, strategic advocacy, and compassionate client service, David has secured numerous multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements for survivors and injury victims across the Midwest. Clients and colleagues respect his ability to combine aggressive courtroom representation with personal attention during emotionally challenging cases. David graduated from Boston College and the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law and is licensed to practice in Missouri and Kansas.
