About

As the owner of the Missouri DWI & Criminal Law Center at the Benjamin Law Firm, LLC, I manage an amazing team of lawyers who focus on criminal and DWI defense, while also collaborating with a team of lawyers on personal injury and nursing home abuse and neglect cases. I have extensive trial experience with more than 200 trials, including dozens of jury trials, and have not lost a trial in over 10 years. I enjoy mentoring and training other lawyers in trial skills - those on the team at Benjamin Law Firm in addition to lawyers across the country. In addition to practicing law, I am on the faculty at the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College and the National College of DUI Defense. Due to a particular passion for DWI defense, I am the co-director for the Bernard Edelman DWI Law & Science Seminar sponsored by the Missouri Bar and Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (MACDL) and serve as the chair of the DWI Committee for MACDL. I serve on the Board of Directors of MACDL, having served as its president in 2013-14. Additionally, I am serving on the Missouri Ethics Commission after an appointment to the commission by the previous governor.
