About
I am the founding member and Senior Partner at Miller, Montiel & Strano, P.C., and my career as a trial attorney spans five decades. I represent individuals who have suffered catastrophic injuries due to construction site injuries, motor vehicle crashes, and premises trip, slip and falls caused by the negligence of another. I am committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for my clients and have secured numerous seven-figure verdicts and settlements. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, I discovered my passion for law at a young age, driven by a desire to help those in need. While working to support myself through school, I earned my law degree from St. John’s University, School of Law in Queens, NY, graduating cum laude and making the Dean’s List. I maintain a strong connection with the School of Law by lecturing on trial advocacy in continuing legal education forums. Beyond St. John’s, I have also lectured for organizations such as the Queens County Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association. I have been recognized for my work by "Super Lawyers," an honor awarded to only 5% of attorneys in the New York Metropolitan Area. Additionally, I hold an "AV Preeminent" rating from Lexis/Nexis, Martindale-Hubbell, which reflects the highest standards of legal ability and ethics. I am an elected member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, a national organization dedicated to preserving the civil jury trial. I am also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Nassau and Queens County Bar Associations, and the Nassau-Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association.
