Laura G. Zois

Laura G. Zois began her career representing insurance companies and large corporations, gaining insight into how insurers evaluate claims, defend cases, and attempt to limit payouts. She tried hundreds of cases as a defense attorney. She now uses that experience exclusively on behalf of injured individuals and grieving families. Her practice focuses on cases involving sex abuse, birth injuries, catastrophic injuries, medical malpractice, catastrophic vehicle collisions, corporate negligence, and wrongful death. Over the course of her career, Ms. Zois has secured numerous multimillion-dollar results. Her verdicts include a $10 million wrongful death and survival action in a medical malpractice case and an $8 million verdict for a mother whose son was killed in a vehicle crash. In 2022, she was named Trial Lawyer of the Year for a $2 million verdict in a sexual abuse case against a healthcare provider. Her achievements in the courtroom have led her to remarkable distinctions within the legal profession. She is a member of the Inner Circle of Advocates, a lifetime appointment limited to 100 of the nation’s top trial lawyers, and one of only 13 women in that group. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an honor reserved for the top 1% of trial lawyers in each state, and has been selected for membership in the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. Membership in any one of these organizations is extraordinary, but being recognized by all three is extremely rare and reflects the high caliber of her courtroom skills and the respect she has earned among elite trial lawyers worldwide.
