Michael Kawi

Michael Kawi is the founding attorney of Clear Path Accident and Injury Law, where he helps people rebuild their lives after serious injuries. With more than 15 years of courtroom experience, Michael is known for his skilled trial advocacy, strategic negotiation, and dedication to achieving results for his clients. Before founding Clear Path, Michael built a reputation as a respected trial attorney in both state and federal courts. He handled complex and high-stakes cases at every level of litigation, trying dozens of jury and bench trials, deposing hundreds of witnesses, and negotiating favorable resolutions for his clients. This depth of experience taught him how to prepare cases thoroughly, understand what persuades judges and juries, and advocate effectively for clients facing significant challenges. Michael began his career as a trial attorney in public service before opening his own firm to focus exclusively on representing injury victims. Today, he uses his litigation skill and courtroom insight to stand up to insurance companies and protect the rights of those injured through negligence or wrongdoing. A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, Michael is licensed to practice in Illinois, Wisconsin, Texas, Florida, the District of Columbia, and several federal courts. He is an active member of the American Association for Justice and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.
