Michael Jordan

Throughout his legal career, Michael J. Jordan has focused on representing individuals who have been injured in serious accidents. When clients reach out for legal help after a car crash or workplace injury, they are often facing physical pain and uncertainty about how their injuries will affect their future. Michael works closely with each client to help them understand their options and navigate the legal process. Michael recognizes that an injury can disrupt an entire family’s stability. Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, Michael earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina before attending Florida Coastal School of Law. After completing his legal education, he joined Steinberg Law Firm, where he continues the firm’s longstanding tradition of representing injured workers and accident victims across the state. Michael’s work has earned respect from colleagues and members of the legal community. He has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America for multiple years and selected as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers. His work in the courtroom has also been featured in South Carolina Lawyers Weekly. In addition to his legal practice, Michael contributes to the legal profession through leadership and service. He has served as President of the Berkeley County Bar Association and President of the South Carolina Injured Workers’ Advocates. He remains active in organizations, including the South Carolina Bar, Charleston County Bar Association, and South Carolina Association for Justice. Michael also dedicates time to supporting nonprofit and charitable organizations in the Charleston area, including Lowcountry AIDS Services, Trident Literacy Association, and Kids’ Chance of South Carolina.
