Michael J. Redenburg

With over fifteen years of legal experience, I began my career representing insurance companies’ clients. Initially, I worked at a Long Island-based law firm defending no-fault claims. Later, I joined a Manhattan firm, where I handled cases involving auto accidents and premises liability on behalf of insurance carriers' clients. It was at this firm that I tried my first case, securing a directed verdict for my client. Following this, I defended clients facing various criminal charges across the five boroughs, successfully trying cases to verdict in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island, and the Bronx, while refining my trial skills. I have handled hundreds of auto accident cases throughout the five boroughs, as well as in Suffolk County, Nassau County, and Westchester, recovering millions of dollars for clients injured due to others' negligence. I’ve also tried numerous civil cases to verdict in State and Federal Courts in Brooklyn and Manhattan. In 2023, I successfully represented a client in an e-bicycle accident case, achieving a $900,000.00 award. I’ve also represented victims of wrongful arrest, stop and frisk, and false arrest in lawsuits against The City of New York in federal court. My work has helped hundreds of individuals victimized by the NYPD recover hundreds of thousands of dollars in compensation. Additionally, I have been recognized by three separate organizations that are invitation-only and peer-reviewed.
