Spencer Tyler Merk

I was born and raised in the Cincinnati area and began my legal career with a local injury firm in December 2013. Not long after, I decided to open my own firm and have been advocating for injured clients ever since. I graduated Cum Laude from the University of Kentucky in 2011 with a degree in business marketing. I earned my law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2014, where I was honored to be placed on the Dean’s List for my academic achievements. I am proud to be a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association, Northern Kentucky Bar Association, Ohio Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, and Louisville Bar Association. Earlier in my career, I gained valuable experience in criminal law while working as a Limited Licensed Intern at the Jefferson County Attorney’s Office, the Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office, and the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office. During my time at the Jefferson County Attorney’s Office, I served as lead counsel on seven jury trials. After gaining this criminal defense experience, I began working in personal injury law. I started as a clerk at a local injury law firm before being hired as an associate attorney focused on litigation. After four years with that firm, I established my own practice and successfully grew it fourfold within just a few years. Today, I am dedicated to protecting clients’ rights and interests in personal injury cases. My goal is to help clients obtain fair and efficient compensation.
