About

I was born in Madison, MS, and grew up in Rock Hill, SC. I completed my undergraduate studies at The University of Alabama Honors College, graduating summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Communicative Sciences. I then pursued my Juris Doctor at Georgia State University. During my time in law school, I volunteered at AVLF's Safe Families Office, where I drafted temporary protective orders for clients facing intimate partner abuse. I also took on the role of president of the Public Interest Law Association, where I organized large fundraising events that successfully raised about $30,000 annually to support the public interest legal community. Additionally, I co-founded the Middle Eastern Law Students' Association at Georgia State. I was fortunate to be selected for the Health Law Partnership Legal Services Clinic, assisting low-income clients with cases related to housing, education, family law, and social benefits. My dedication to public interest law was recognized with a certificate in Public Interest Law and Policy, reflecting my coursework, academic achievements, and legal work. I also led a group for GSU's Center for Access to Justice, focusing on domestic violence awareness and legal education concerning domestic disputes. Furthermore, I was honored to be a pupil in the Weltner Inn of Court, which includes law students, lawyers, and judges from the family law field in the Atlanta area. Since the beginning of my law school journey, I have been actively involved in the family law field. I am driven by a passion to assist others during both their best and most challenging times. My goal is to positively influence our legal community by enhancing access to justice for everyone and serving as a steadfast advocate for my clients. When I'm not working, I love to travel, spend quality time with friends and family, attend concerts, and support the Crimson Tide.
