I am a Litigation Attorney at the Tampa, FL office of Melone Hatley, P.C., with over 20 years of experience representing clients in various family law matters. I chose to focus on family law because it gives me the opportunity to make a meaningful difference for families facing challenging and emotional situations. My commitment to my clients drives me to provide dedicated support for those seeking guidance with divorce and other family law issues in Tampa, FL. Over the years, I have handled numerous family law cases from start to finish, including high-conflict custody disputes, divorce proceedings, and paternity matters. My approach is built on empathy, a thoughtful legal strategy, and clear communication. I take pride in being able to guide, advise, and support my clients through what can often be a difficult journey. Before joining Melone Hatley, P.C., I gained extensive experience in private practice, representing clients in both family law and criminal defense cases. I served as a senior attorney and regional litigation manager at a national family law firm, where I worked with attorneys across the state and assisted clients in complex family law disputes. Earlier in my career, I led litigation efforts at a Florida law firm, managing intricate cases. My legal journey began in public service as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida’s Sixth Judicial Circuit. There, I handled trial work in misdemeanor and felony courts and served as the felony division’s child abuse attorney. During law school, I was actively involved in advocacy programs. I served as Co-Captain of the National Trial Team, President of the Student Trial Bar, and participated in Moot Court and Phi Delta Phi. These experiences helped prepare me for the career I have today.
